APPROVAL OF MINUTES
FROM 6/16-7/21/07
Motion to approve the minutes of the 6/16 special meeting; second; unanimous
approval.
Motion to approve the minutes of the 6/16 Prudential Committee meeting;
second; unanimous approval.
Motion to approve the minutes of the 7/21 Prudential Committee meeting;
second; unanimous approval.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Mr. Feit reports on current account balances and bills outstanding. He
suggests paying off the unused $60,000 loan. He reports on status of FEMA/MEMA
reimbursement saying that paperwork is complete and the District should
be getting back 87% of what was submitted.
Motion made and seconded to pay off the $60,000 loan; unanimous approval.
ROAD SUPERVISOR’S REPORT
Mr. LaChapelle is on vacation but has been in communication. Mr. Bonney
reports that grading is about ¾ done. Ads for contractors will
go in the paper next week. Cones and signs will have to be procured. Mr.
LaChapelle is now signing off on bills before Mr. Feit pays them.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Ms. Forster reports receipt of a letter from the Conservation Commission
regarding a culvert on Old Carriage Road.
Mr. Guevin asks for an estimate of when grading will resume on the lower
part of the Forest.
Ms. McGeer asks about “free money” for the Valentine snow
storm. She heard something about it on the television. Mr. Feit will look
into it. She also speaks to culverts at the end of private drives.
Mr. Brownhill suggests a letter of recognition be sent to Mr. Ronzio for
his hard work on the FEMA/MEMA claim. Motion made and seconded to send;
unanimous approval.
Mr. McEnerney asks about the District’s computer. Discussion of
setting up a District office.
Discussion of possible conflict of interest if Mr. LaChapelle performs
road work.
Mr. Boucher reports that Mr. Andrews is still listed as Road Superintendent
on the bulletin board that Mr. Ronzio maintains. Mr. Feit will speak to
Mr. Ronzio about this.
OLD BUSINESS
Special meeting permit: Special meeting will be 9/15. Mr. Feit will have
warrant ready for signing at the 8/18 meeting.
Building Committee
Office & Storage for material: Need rates for special meeting.

Mr. McEnerney has provided a cd with all of the District information that’s
currently on the SFNA site. Mr. Feit has a quote of under $150 to set
a site up. Mr. McEnerney will have this individual contact Mr. Feit.

Still waiting to consult attorney.
REPORT ON ATTORNEY
Mr. Bonney is pursuing a firm in Boston which is experienced with municipalities.
