Prudential Committee Meeting

Meeting opens at 10:30 AM
APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM 9/1/07
Correction: Jerry Summit was present. Motion to approve the corrected minutes of the 9/1 meeting; second; unanimous approval.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Mr. Feit reports on status of FEMA/MEMA reimbursements, current balances and amounts due. He says the district now has a web site: sfrmd.org.
ROAD SUPERVISOR’S REPORT (Mr. Bonney reports in Mr. LaChapelle’s absence)
Culverts: A contact is needed for the new president of the SFNA. Mr. Feit will supply this to Mr. Bonney.
Road & Waterways: Discussion of how waterways are being done and the extent and quality of the work being done on some of the roadways.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Mr. Ronzio is receiving bills from the District’s accountant. Mr. Feit says he has asked them to change this.
Mr. Ronzio asks about how the decision to do the web site was made.
Mr. Ronzio says Becket Woods received their FEMA/MEMA money already.
Mr. Ronzio speaks about work orders, morphing into waterways.
Mr. Ronzio asks who on the committee is getting paid for meetings.
Ms. McGeer commends the committee on the good job they’re doing and the good shape the roads are in.
Mr. Boucher asks if Jesters Lane will be done again.
Discussion of individuals tearing up the roads with improper driving.
OLD BUSINESS
Web site: Mr. Feit is forwarding all approved minutes to the webmaster.
November 3rd Special Meeting: Discussion of the wording and review of items on the warrant. Extensive discussions of stabilization fund and of proposed land/office rental.
Checking Account Alternate: Ms. Fitzgerald has not yet contacted Mr. Feit.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Bonney has correspondence from the District Attorney in Pittsfield regarding alleged violation of the Open Meeting Law.
Mr. Bonney received a phone call regarding a complaint by Mr. Andrews of incorrect bidding of the road contract.
Mr. Bonney received a letter of complaint from Edward Jakot regarding a culvert on Prince John.
There being no further business to conduct, a motion is made and seconded to adjourn. Unanimous approval.
The meeting is adjourned at 11:43 AM
